How many numbers do you see? This optical illusion will definitely test your vision.
The image shows a number partially hidden inside a striped black and grey circle. Viewers are asked if they see a number and, if so, what number it is.
The stripes are arranged in uneven spirals, making the number even harder to find.

Thousands of people around the world have gone crazy with the visual puzzle since it went viral on Twitter and have come to different conclusions about the hidden digits. One wrote: "45 283... What's the catch? Do I need to make an appointment with my doctor?", while another said: "I can only see 528. Does that mean something about my vision?". A third added: "I can see 45283, but looking at the other answers, others see two other digits. I can see that there are numbers there too, but I can't make them out."
And yet, it's a seven-digit number!
However, the real answer is seven digits: 3452839.
It is understood that the optical illusion works by playing with contrast sensitivity, an important measure of visual function that allows us to perceive the difference between objects and their background.
This is true in real-world situations, such as driving in low-light or foggy conditions, where a higher level of contrast sensitivity is required because the contrast between objects and their background is reduced.
