The new platform of the Ministry of Defence for the submission of the data of those who will reach or have reached the age of 16 within the current year (born in 2006) will go live on Tuesday.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defence, this is a friendly and easily accessible platform where, through simple procedures, all young people can fill in their details in order to do the necessary preparation and preparation for their call-up to the National Guard.

It is noted that according to the National Guard Law, this is a mandatory procedure for those who have reached the age of 16. It should also be noted that those young people who do not proceed with the submission of their data will not be able to obtain an exit permit to travel outside Cyprus.

For their own convenience, all young people are invited to register at the Governmental Internet Portal ARIADNI and have in electronic form either their identity card (both sides) or their birth certificate. The platform will be available until 31 March 2022.
