Resolved that the flags of public stores throughout the country be flown at half-mast from today until the day of his funeral

The funeral of former President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias, who died this morning at the age of 92, will be held at public expense.

According to a government decision, the honours befitting a Head of State will be paid at his funeral.

It was also decided to observe public mourning from the day of his death and for three days, as well as on the day of his funeral.

It was also decided that the flags of public stores throughout the country will be flown at half-mast from today until the day of his funeral.
