On Wednesday January 19, the first six French Rafale aircraft are expected to arrive in Greece.[/B]
The fighters will take off from the military base in Eastre in southern France and land at the 114th Battle Wing in Tanagra.
These are two two-seat and four single-seat fighter aircraft, which will perform a symbolic flight over the Acropolis after landing in Tanagra.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and National Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos are expected to attend the reception of the Rafale on Wednesday at the 114th Battle Wing. The military leadership will also be present, with the Chief of the General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros and the Chief of the General Staff, Vice General Georgios Blioumis.
