"On the occasion of Christmas and the joyful message of the birth of the God-Man, the Democratic Rally wishes everyone a happy Christmas! With personal happiness and health, but also with the wish that the struggles we all give in our daily lives will be blessed. At the same time, it is the wish of all of us that the hope that comes with Christmas will be transformed into reality, fulfilling our ardent desire for the liberation and reunification of our country.
In a few moments we will bid farewell to another year that was also marked by the coronavirus pandemic. A year with its own challenges, from which we draw lessons but do not allow it to take away from the optimism through which we must look to the future.
It is our deep conviction that no matter how difficult the circumstances, the common bonds that unite us all must become more solid, stronger and unanimity must prevail in facing the dangers that threaten the country and the global community.

Dangers that only through unity, which can bring out the potential of our society and our country, can we successfully face.
It is these potentials that we want and need to unleash, potentials and prospects, inversely proportional to the small size of our Cyprus and this must be the goal of all of us in 2022. To highlight those things that unite us, that make us stronger as a whole in the face of all challenges. This is how our aspirations will become reality.
