The 17-year-old who shot and killed his father in Limassol during their hunting trip has been arrested The offences being investigated against him The juvenile will be examined by a psychologist

Police have arrested the 17-year-old who shot his father during their hunting trip in the village ofSouni, Limassol district.

The offences of causing death by negligence, illegal possession and illegal transportation of a hunting weapon and illegal possession and illegal transportation of explosives i.e. hunting cartridges[/B] are being investigated against the minor.

The juvenile will be taken for examination by a government psychologist.


It is recalled that the family tragedy unfolded this morning when, as reported in a previous report by the Cyprus Times, the 17-year-old was with his 45-year-old father, Antonis Harilaou from Trachoni, hunting in a remote area of the village of Souni.

Then a tragic accident unfolded as it seems that a shot fired by the son accidentally hit the father in the head and he fell dead.
