Military equipment and other aid to Ukraine was announced on Sunday that Sweden will send for the first time in 83 years!
Announcing the decision, Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said it was the first time Sweden would send arms to a country in conflict since the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939, a move indicative of the international climate.
Anderson added that the shipments would include 5,000 disposable anti-tank launchers, 5,000 bulletproof and 5,000 helmets as well as 135.My conclusion now is that our security is best served when we support Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia," the Swedish Prime Minister said.
Earlier, the European Union announced that it will buy weapons and deliver them to Ukraine, which it is doing for the first time in its history.
