With two final candidates for the presidency, the internal party elections in the KDP will be held next Sunday morning, March 13. Candidates are Mineh Atli, the current secretary-general, and the former secretary-general, Doga Yaltsin.
As reported in the occupied territories, the elections will be held in Nicosia. Atli had expressed her intention to run for the presidency of the KDP days ago while Yalcin announced his candidacy yesterday on social media,writing that "we should continue our way with dynamic, diverse, innovative words and attitudes and fixed ideas, outdated debates, outdated slogans should be purged."
