Two arrests after chase in Larnaca Police investigate all information
Police in Larnaca handcuffed two people in a drug case.
Specifically, at around 19.30 late yesterday afternoon, members of the Police tried to stop a vehicle with two persons in it for control. The driver of the vehicle picked up speed and attempted to flee, resulting in a pursuit.
At one point one of the two was seen throwing an object through the window, which was picked up and found to be a package containing a quantity of cocaine weighing 100 grams.
[/P]The vehicle was intercepted a short time later and the two, 47-year-old and 30-year-old, both Greek Cypriots, were handcuffed.
Within the day they are expected to be brought before a court for a detention order.
