Winds will be mainly southwest to west initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later locally up to moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little choppy while on the east coast it will be calm to a little choppy. The temperature will rise to around 19 degrees inland and on the coast and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be mainly cloudy withlocal showers and isolated thunderstorms and snow on the higher peaks of the Troodos. Winds will initially be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming later mainly northwest to north, of the same strength. The sea will generally be slightly rough, while later in the west and north it will become locally a little rough to choppy. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees inland, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 8 degrees on the western and northern coasts and around 1 degree in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form.
On Wednesday the weather will be partly cloudy and partly cloudy, with localised showers at times and isolated thunderstorms. Snow or sleet is expected to fall on the higher Troodos peaks.
On Thursday the weather will be partly cloudy and partly cloudy at times, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. In the higher mountain ranges snowfall is expected.
On Friday the weather will be initially partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the western half of the island. In the higher mountains, snowfall is expected. The weather will gradually improve.
