The legendary Brazilian has returned home after an adventure with his health.
81-year-old Pele, by many accounts the greatest player ever to cross the pitch, has been discharged from the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo and returned home, where he celebrated Christmas with his loved ones. The three-time World Cup winner with the Brazilian national team wanted to reassure his fans and send a message of hope.[/b]
He posted on his social media accounts a photo of him hugging his wife Marcia Aoki with the decorated Christmas tree in the background. "Today, I hope you have moments of love, peace and unity as I do. Merry Christmas, my friends," the Brazilian great wrote in his greeting message, clearly happy at the side of the woman he has been with since 2016.
On December 9, Pele, who has been diagnosed with colon cancer, was admitted to hospital for the final phase of his chemotherapy
