Due to the weather conditions the roads Karvouna - Troodos, Platron - Troodos and Prodromos - Troodos are open only for vehicles with all-wheel drive or equipped with anti-slip chains. The roads in the Troodos area have become dangerous due to landslides of masses of soil and stones, and due to dense fog, visibility is zero.
On the Nicosia - Limassol motorway, in the area of Pentakomou,[/B] there is hailfall resulting in limited visibility.
Drivers are advised to be particularly careful, to drive at low speed and to keep their headlights on!
