Today the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy, locally, mainly cloudy and isolated showers and local, mainly light snowfall in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas are expected. Winds will blow northwest to northeast, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort and occasionally very strong, 6 Beaufort. In windy areas the winds will be light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly choppy to choppy in the south and choppy to choppy on the rest of the coast. In western leeward areas, winds will be light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will later become slightly choppy to choppy in the south and choppy along the rest of the coast. Temperatures will drop to around zero degrees inland, around 4 degrees on the coast and around minus 8 degrees in the higher mountains. Locally, frost is expected in the mountains, semi-mountains and later in the interior.

On Thursday there will be partly cloudy spells. On Friday from early afternoon onwards, a few, mainly light showers and light snowfall in the mountains are expected. On Saturday, showers or thunderstorms are expected locally and in the higher mountain ranges local snowfall.

Temperatures will rise slightly on Thursday, but will remain well below average. On Friday, a marked rise in temperature is expected, to be close to average climatic values, while on Saturday no significant change is expected. The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 24 cm.
