The regular investigator of the Court of First Instance of Chalkida is waiting for important elements from Google, to complete his regular interrogation and call the two fishermen involved in the death of Sifi Valyrakis, who was found dead on January 24, 2021 in Pezonisi Eretria.
The regular investigator who began questioning again will now have in his hands important evidence from the possibilities provided by technology through mobile phones and GPS applications including Google applications showing the course of the mobile phones and boats if they had GPS, involved.

"At the moment the case is in the investigator who is conducting some investigations, autopsies and depending on their outcome will call the defendants to apologize. Recall that the Prosecutor of Appeal Evia Ms. Vasiliki Delistathi, accepted the appeal of the family against the order issued by the Prosecutor of Chalkida Prokopiou asking to put on file as an "accident" the case file. Ms Delistathi examined the evidence presented for months by the legal advisers of the Valyrakis family, namely the 15 blows suffered by the deceased, most of them to the head, face, neck, etc., which were inflicted by organs different from each other. The above four important elements led the Prosecutor to accept the appeal of the Valyrakis family against the order of the District Attorney of Chalkida, which put the case on file. Indeed, in a statement the lawyers of the family of the deceased Manolis Fotakis and Kostas Papadakis pointed out that the Prosecutor of the Court of Appeal "ordered the prosecution for the act of manslaughter with intent against the persons burdened by the relevant evidence" and referred to the regular Investigator of the District Court of Chalkida to conduct a regular interrogation.
As soon as the investigator completes the investigations initiated by the coast guard and when he deems that he has completed the investigative process, he will summon two suspected fishermen who will face the possibility of pre-trial detention. Thus, since last November, the regular interrogation began which, according to reports, may be completed even in February when the two suspects will be called for an apology.
