Today the weather will be partly cloudy at times and initially light rain or light snowfall[/B] is likely in the mountains. Winds will be mainly southwest to west, initially light, 3 Beaufort, and later light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little choppy in the east but the rest of the coast will be choppy to a little choppy. The temperature will rise to around 14 degrees in the interior, around 16 on the coast and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be partly cloudy and partly cloudy at times with the possibility of isolated showers, not excluding the possibility of thunderstorms, mainly in the west, southwest and north. On Thursday the weather will initially be partly cloudy but will gradually become mainly cloudy and in the late afternoon and evening, as on Friday, localised showers, isolated thunderstorms and snow in the higher mountains are expected at times.
The temperature will gradually rise slightly on Wednesday and Thursday to be close to average climatic values. It is expected to fall slightly on Friday. The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 77 cm.
