, before the Paphos Traffic Police who are investigating the causes and circumstances of the new fatal traffic accident, there is testimony that the driver of the white saloon vehicle, which appears to be a possible old-type BMW, allegedly conscious of the accident, got out of his vehicle, slowed down at the scene and then reversed and left the unfortunate woman bleeding and helpless on the tarmac.
The fatality was recalled, noted at around 21.00, when the unfortunate Androulla, attempted to cross Priam Street on foot, in the "Yuniversal " area. The driver of the vehicle hit her and left her seriously injured and helpless.
Pafos Hospital doctors made great efforts but the unfortunate woman passed away a few hours later.
Police appeal for information
Police are calling on anyone who knows anything in relation to the circumstances of the accident to contact the Pafos Traffic Police at 26-806101 or the nearest Police Station, or the Citizen's Line at 1460.
