Investigations for poaching took place today in the Limassol district[/B] as part of a joint operation between the Republic Police and the British Bases.
One person was arrested for poaching and illegal possession of firearms.
According to a statement from the BC, a total of six houses were searched, two of which were within an area owned by the Bases.
During a search in Paramali, officers located a hare, a shotgun,[/B] a number of cartridges and a four-wheeled motorcycle, which had been reported as stolen property, and proceeded to arrest a man for the offences of poaching and illegal possession of firearms.
