Another serious incident of domestic violence occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning in Mesi Agia, in Patras.
According to tempo24.news, a 42-year-old man after an incident started swearing, threatening and hitting his wife in the face, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
The situation in the house was tense and the woman managed to alert the police by sending a text message from her mobile phone, reporting the incident and the address of the house, calling for help.
The incident took place in front of the couple's minor child who saw and experienced everything.
At about 3 a.m., officers from the A Police Station approached the house, knocked on the door and arrested the 42-year-old, who followed them without putting up any resistance. A case file was formed against him.
