Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varheli, among others, discussed relations with Turkey and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean at a meeting on Monday afternoon, according to a post by the latter.
As Varheli said in his post: "With Minister @IKasoulides in Brussels this evening we discussed relations with Turkey, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and developments in the Southern Neighbourhood" (i.e. the Middle East and North African countries)."
The meeting of Mr. Kasoulides' meeting with the Commissioner took place on the occasion of the Foreign Minister's presence in Brussels, where he participated in the Foreign Affairs Council on Monday and will participate in the General Affairs Council tomorrow.
