An outrage has erupted online over the case of the rape of a 24-year-old girl by the scion of a well-known business family.

Already the names and properties of persons allegedly involved in both the Thessaloniki hotel party and the alleged gang rape after drug use have begun to "leak" on Twitter.
It is noted that the 24-year-old girl is alone as her parents have died and her fiancé has passed away from a terminal illness, while immediately after the incident she contacted her friends.
The case
The young girl crossed the threshold of the Security Department of the White Tower on January 2 and filed a complaint against the 27-year-old for rape, so a few hours later the well-known businessman was found, the police officers handcuffed him and then he was brought before a prosecutor and an investigating judge.
By a unanimous decision, the 27-year-old was released with restrictive conditions. A case was also filed against a second person who allegedly rented the hotel suite where, according to the girl, the heinous act took place.
According to the girl's lawyer, what happened in the suite took place against her will and while she was drugged. There were three people who grabbed her from the hotel elevator and put her in the room.
"That night the girl went to the suite of a well-known five-star hotel with a friend. There they found another acquaintance there. When they decided to leave , my client was unable to drive to go home and called the man who called her there telling him she could not drive and he told her to come back. When she came back she saw three people who grabbed her from the hotel elevator and put her in the room."
"The morning she woke up, she was without clothes and alone in a room. She was upset, she didn't know what had happened, she didn't remember anything. She decided to report the incident to the police and after an investigation the 27-year-old was arrested, who seems to have admitted to having sexual intercourse with the girl while claiming he had her consent," he adds.
It is worth pointing out that ten days after the gruesome case was revealed, a firestorm of posts on social media has erupted, raising many questions and queries. "On New Year's Eve, my colleagues and I organized a party in a suite of a well-known five-star hotel in our city. In an effort to make it a beautiful evening, I foolishly pressured young girls to attend in order to make the evening more beautiful for our friends and clients, who came from Athens for the weekend. The situation went awry during the course of the night, resulting in the irreparable mental and physical exposure of a girl I know and I was clearly the pressing reason for her to attend the party. The least I can say is that I owe a huge apology."
