[BBquote]The European Year of Youth is a real opportunity to put young people at the heart of our policies, said MEP Niyazi Kiziljirek, speaking on Tuesday before the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg during the debate on the European Year of Youth 2022.[BBquote]
[BBp]Kiziljirec pointed out that over the last decade youth have been affected by both the economic crisis and COVID-19 and have suffered a lot. Now youth will be at the centre, he noted.[BBp][BBp]Kiziljirek [BBb]wished young people to be involved in the decision-making process at every level: local, regional, national and EU level.[BBb][BBp][BBp]He said that this year should truly be a year by young people for young people and that this would be its real benefit.[BBp][BBp]He said that the needs and desires of young people are well known.
