Putin's four conditions for the EU to stop the invasion Putin communicates with Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin a few hours before the start of Russia's negotiations with Ukraine.

According to international media reports, the communication lasted an hour and a half and, as RT reports, Putin reiterated the four conditions he set for the European Union in order to stop the war that has been raging for the fifth day.

The four conditions are as follows:

-Recognition of Russian sovereignty in Crimea

-Demilitarization of the Ukrainian state

-Denazification of the Ukrainian state

-Ensuring Ukraine's neutral status

It should be noted that the Russian president initially demanded the opening of negotiations only on the condition that the Ukrainians surrender their weapons, while in a recent interview he claimed that he was not talking to "Nazis and drug addicts", and of course he took aim at the Ukrainian government, which he even called on the Ukrainian people and army to overthrow.

From the beginning of the conflict, it was clear that the Russians want an unconditional (Ukrainian) surrender that will end not only the war, but also the term of the Ukrainian government and Zelensky's presidency - this is what the term "neutral regime" means. The other part, the term "demilitarization" of Ukraine, means ending its flirtation with NATO and its arming by the Americans - at the political level, and its final withdrawal from the West.
