Details of the new cases of the virus in Greece - What EODY announced - The situation with deaths and hospitalized people

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 19,075, of which 62 were detected after checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,812,384 (daily change +1.1%), of which 49.8% are male.

Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 416 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,079 are associated with an already known case.

Daily evolution of the pandemic: The daily distribution of confirmed cases is as follows (the line represents the overall, cumulative distribution of cases).

The new deaths of COVID-19 patients is 111, with a total of 22,748 deaths recorded since the start of the outbreak. 95.0% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of intubated patients hospitalized is 655 (59.2% male). Their median age is 66 years. 82.0% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Among the hospitalized intubated patients, 520 (79.39%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 135 (20.61%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,980 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

Covid-19 new patient admissions to hospitals in the territory are 465 (daily change +9.93%). The seven-day average admission is 490 patients.

The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
