He was arrested today on the basis of a court warrant and detained, a 64-year-old man, resident of Nicosia, for facilitating interrogations in connection with an investigated case of illegal practice of medical profession, illegal circulation of pharmaceutical products and others.
Specifically, in the context of investigating information concerning a person who allegedly practiced the medical profession without holding a relevant licence as well as the possession of pharmaceutical products which do not appear to have a relevant marketing authorisation in the Republic of Cyprus, members of the Headquarters CID conducted a search today on the basis of a court warrant at the home and premises of the 64-year-old in Nicosia where a large number of pharmaceutical preparations and documents as well as a large amount of money were found and taken.
All of the above were taken for further scientific examinations while the Headquarters CID continues the examinations.
