[Cyprus Times] Powerful explosion in a building on Syngrou Avenue (pics-video)

Near the Pillars of Olympian Zeus Both Streams of Syngrou Avenue Closed

An alarm was raised by a powerful explosion that occurred shortly after 6 am in a 6-storey building on Syngrou Avenue, at number 3.

The explosion caused a fire. The fire brigade is currently extinguishing the fire. 18 firefighters with 6 vehicles are operating at the scene.

Both streams of Syngrou Avenue are currently closed.

The shock wave broke windows in a radius up to Makriyannis and Dionysiou Areopagitou
