All competent services were put on alert this morning, after an indication of damage to a police helicopter.
According to the Cyprus Times, the helicopter took off for training, however an indication forced the pilot of the Air Operations Unit to make an emergency landing at the Maharashtra helipad.
Fortunately, no other problem or any injuries occurred and, according to reports, procedures are already underway to repair the helicopter so that it can return to its base.
