The Cyprus Red Cross - Pafos Branch was visited on Thursday by the Pafos Police Director, Nikos Tsapis, accompanied by a large delegation, offering gifts and Christmas toys.
As stated by the President of the Cyprus Red Cross - Pafos Branch, Maria Korakidou, these gifts will bring joy to dozens of children who will make sure to receive them in time. She said that for the Christmas and New Year holidays, they have prepared love packages and will help as many families as they can within their possibilities.
In December the Cyprus Red Cross - Pafos Branch supported about 400 families through the social welfare programme, while in addition they gave another 40 love packages which include first love foodstuffs.

They also distributed to families in need, 40 coupons of fifty euros and 50 coupons of 20 euros, said Mrs. Korakidou.
The Pafos Branch of the Cyprus Red Cross can be the field of action of any of our fellow citizens who wish to contribute, added Mrs. Korakidou. Korakidou, inviting citizens to create a large network of solidarity with their fellow citizens.
For his part, the Paphos Police Director said that every Christmas, the Paphos Police offers joy to the children of the families supported by the Cyprus Red Cross - Paphos Branch with Christmas gifts. The charity work of the Paphos Police, he added, will continue insolidarity with our fellow human beings.
