British Bases Police appeal for information on Tuesday's fatality - An elderly man on a moped had lost his life

British Bases Police are asking for the public's help in investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred last Tuesday.

The British Bases Dhekelia Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday 05/04/2022, at approximately 02:50pm on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway, heading towards Larnaca, near the exit of the Xylofagou industrial area.

The collision occurred when, under circumstances which are being investigated, a moped driven by an 89-year-old man collided head-on with a car driven by a 47-year-old man.
