Cyprus will work with the French Presidency of the EU Council to achieve its ambitious goals, says the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, while thanking the outgoing Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council.
I wish France all the best on the occasion of its assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the EU. Cyprus will work in harmony with the French Presidency of the Council of the EU to achieve its ambitious goals for the benefit of European citizens, President Anastasiades said in a post, in Greek and French, on Twitter.
In another post, President Anastasiades congratulates the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2021 for what he calls its remarkable work under difficult circumstances, including the coordinated EU response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
