The trial of Petros Filippidis was interrupted for 28 March 2022 at the request of his lawyer Michalis Dimitrakopoulos.
The lawyer of Dimitris Lignadis requested the adjournment of the trial so that Dimitris Lignadis could be present at the trial and follow the proceedings.
The prosecutor had also proposed the adjournment of the trial saying: "It is an inalienable procedural right of the accused to attend the hearing. He stated through his counsel that he wants to attend and participate, to ask questions because he is accused of offences of great criminal gravity. Although his health problem is not evident from documents, I will propose that his request be granted in order for him to be present in court."
