Government Spokesman confirms direct flight to transfer Turkish player from Larnaca

Government Spokesman, Marios Pelekanos, confirmed to the Cyprus News Agency that the Turkish authorities have requested permission from the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus for the transfer, by direct flight between Istanbul and Larnaca, a player of the Turkish Men's National Handball Team, who was detected after his arrival in Cyprus to be positive for coronavirus.
