[Cyprus Times] Patrol car "opened the road" for a pregnant woman to be rushed to Limassol hospital to give birth

Police assisted in immediate transport of pregnant woman to hospital

Around 9 last night while members of the Headquarters Road Accident Prevention Unit (RAPU) were in the area of Germasogeia for traffic checks, they were approached by a driver of a vehicle, who reported that he was rushing his wife to Limassol General Hospital to give birth.

The members of the Police, after immediately taking the necessary actions, transported the pregnant woman with an escort, in time and safely to the Hospital.

The couple thanked the members of the Police for their immediate response and assistance.
