A written statement said that "PASYDY and the Cyprus Police Association (CPA) condemn in the strongest and most unequivocal terms the throwing of two Molotov cocktails" that took place at 3am today in the courtyard of the Aradippou Police Station.
The two organisations "declare their full support and solidarity with the members who staff the Police Station. They assure that these actions cannot in any way affect the members of the Police from continuing to carry out their duty with a high sense of responsibility and dedication."
PASYDY and S.A.K. "express the certainty that these illegal actions will be fully investigated with the aim of solving them and exemplary punishment of the culprits."
