Suspension of the implementation of the second quarter exams for all classes, as long as unresolved issues such as learning frameworks remain, the many exams, the issue of shortages of substitutes, the pandemic outbreak and the absence of modern distance education, the Pancyprian Confederation of Federations of Associations of Public Secondary School Parents' Associations calls for.

On Wednesday, the Board of Directors of the Confederation met on the main issue of evaluating the implementation of the four-month institution and after examining all the parameters, unanimously came to decisions.

According to a statement of the Confederation, the Board of Directors decided to hold a press conference immediately for a full presentation of the Confederation's positions.

"Since the Ministry of Education and Culture decided to conduct examinations with the procedures of Pancyprian Access Examinations it had to proceed with the corresponding procedure of the reduction of the results. As soon as this procedure of correction will not be followed, the Ministry of Education should proceed to the complete cancellation of the written examination results," the statement added.
