A man was found dead in the mountainous area of Lagadi, in the municipality of Visaltia Serres. So far, the circumstances under which he died remain unknown, while it has not been possible to identify him.
As of 12 noon, a search was launched by both the Police and the Fire Brigade to locate him and a woman. A call had been made to the three-digit emergency number 112, through which the Serres Police Directorate was informed and the search began.
According to the call, the traces of two people, a man and a woman, were missing in the area. Around 4 pm the man was found dead by firefighters in the stream. His body was taken to the Nigrida Hospital in Serres.
