The main suspect of the murder of 19-year-old Alkis Kambanos in Thessaloniki has been arrested.
He is a 23-year-old Albanian, born in Thessaloniki.
"I contacted the Prime Minister to inform him that the alleged perpetrator of the murder of 19-year-old Alkis in Thessaloniki has just been arrested. The Greek Police is doing its duty in this case as well," Takis Theodoricakos stresses in a message.

The 23-year-old appears to have been identified by a friend of Alkis, as he appears to be spotted on cameras inside the car.
The arrest of the alleged killer of Alkis Kampanos, an act of horror that has shocked all of Greece, came as the family of the unfortunate 19-year-old bids the student a fond farewell.
Alkis' funeral is taking place this hour in Veroia.
