Temporarily closed is around 10.30 on Saturday morning, the Nicosia-Anthoupolis-Palaichoriu road, at the height of the junction to Kato Moni, in the Aredi area, for the safe conduct of a protest event, due to a number of citizens who have gathered at the site.
Traffic congestion is observed on the road. Members of the Police are in the area to provide assistance, regulate traffic and direct traffic to alternative roads.
Passing vehicle drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution, drive their vehicles at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and follow the instructions of on-duty police officers.
