The Nicosia Permanent Court of Cassation found a stepfather accused of sexual abuseof a child
According to the court, the testimony of the minor, who is the daughter of his wife, was found unreliable.
As stated among other things in the judgment, "it was the Court's conclusion that the inconsistencies, inaccuracies, self-contradictions and exaggerations in the complainant's description were of such a nature and content as to taint her testimony making its admission dangerous."
