A coordinated operation to police the community of Chloraka, was carried out yesterday by members of the Police.
During the operation, checks were carried out at several houses, apartment complexes, as well as traffic checks.
Six persons were found to violate the decree of the Minister of Interior dated 3/12/2021, concerning the prohibition of settlement of international protection applicants within the community.
A criminal case is being investigated against the above persons, as well as against the owner of the apartment complex where they were found residing, for violation of the relevant decree.
In addition, members of the Police also made 14 complaints, for various traffic offences.
The Paphos Minor Offences Department continues its investigations.
