Details of the new cases of the virus in Greece - What EODY announced - The situation with deaths and hospitalized people

The new laboratory-confirmed cases[/B] of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 22.362 , of which 84 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,890,296 (daily change +1.2%), of which 49.8% are male.

Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 425 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1.220 are associated with an already known case.

New deaths of COVID-19 patients are 107[/B], with a total of 23,195 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.0% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 605 (60.3% male). Their median age is 66 years. 83.8% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 483 (79.83%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 122 (20.17%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,015 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

New admissions of Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 472 (daily change +13.73%). The seven-day average admission is 449 patients.

The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
