Mineh Atli, who was recently elected as the secretary general of the Community Democracy Party, has announced that she is seriously considering running for the party's presidency at the congress to be held on March 13.
According to the GMP, Atli said she would wait for the names of other candidates to be announced and make a decision.
Among the names heard for the party presidency is the name of Mehmet Harmanji, the current "mayor" of occupied Nicosia, who has yet to take a public position on the issue.
