Meeting between the CEC and CL today in the occupied territories for the formation of a "government"
The president and a delegation of the CEC will have a meeting with the Lassou party today at 15.00 as part of the contacts for the formation of a "government" of cooperation. It will be recalled that on Tuesday, Faiz Suzhouoglu, president of the CEC, received the mandate to form a "government" from Ersin Tatar.
Tomorrow morning, Suzhouoglu will conclude his contacts with the Republican Turkish Party.
After yesterday's meetings, Mr. Suzhouoglu himself said he will have a second round of talks on Friday, tomorrow or Saturday, the day after tomorrow.
The CEC delegation had a meeting with the Renaissance Party and the Democratic Party yesterday. In his statements after the meeting with the PP, Faiz Suzhouoglu said that the goal is to form a 5-year "government". He said he set a limit of 30 "deputies", but this could be 29 or even 42, meaning tripartite cooperation in the first case and cooperation with the PKK in the second.
To form a stable "government", goodwill and trust are important. Who described the meeting with the PP as very constructive, they will study the views raised and come back to a new meeting.
The president of the PP, Fikri Ataoglu said that they agree on many issues with the CEC and their goal is to respond to the expectations of the citizens and realize the projects and proposals they had in their election manifesto.
The meeting yesterday between the CEC and the Renaissance Party was also described as very positive. He said that they put a draft of a "government programme" on the table and the CA gave a package of proposals to the CEC.
