As it says, in their first meeting since Mr. Anolik last August, the two addressed issues of bilateral cooperation with emphasis on science, innovation and education.
The Mayor of Nicosia requested the assistance of the Ambassador of Israel in expanding the bridge of cooperation with his country, particularly in the exchange of know-how and Smart Cities practices. For his part, Mr. Anolik invited him to Tel Aviv to present the results of Muni World 2021, the global specialized conference held in October to present proven best practices, as well as the key challenges and threats facing Smart Cities.
