The project of the Pediaion River and the need to construct storm water drains on Ermou Street within the buffer zone, were some of the issues discussed at a cooperation meeting on Tuesday 11 January between the Mayor of Nicosia, Constantinos Yiorkatzis, and the representative of the T/C community of Nicosia, Mehmet Harmatzi.
A Nicosia Municipality statement said that during the meeting the meeting also discussed ways of managing and using the treated water produced by the New Bicommunal Wastewater Plant.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Harmanci toured the Cyens Centre of Excellence and the renewed Creative Business District - parts of Trikoupis, Aeschylus, Lefkonos streets in the old town.
