Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and partly mostly cloudy and locally showers or thunderstorms are expected, initially mainly in the west, south and mountains and later in inland and eastern areas. Snow or sleet will fall on the higher Troodos peaks. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly light 3 and locally up to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the south in the midday and early afternoon hours, occasionally moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally to slightly rough and gradually to rough in the west and south. Temperatures will rise to around 18 degrees inland, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 17 degrees on the rest of the coast and around 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, there will be partly cloudy skies with isolated rain initially in the east and north and later a few light showers in the west. Winds will blow mainly from the northwest, initially light 3 and later locally up to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little choppy and in the west up to choppy. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees in the interior, around 9 degrees on the coast and to minus 1 degree in the higher mountains where frost will form.
On Saturday, increasing clouds are expected to give locally light mainly light showers. Temperatures will not change significantly, remaining close to average climatic values.
On Sunday, the weather will be mainly cloudy. On MondayMonday the weather will gradually become mainly cloudy and local showers are expected in the late afternoon in the west. The temperature will not change significantly, remaining close to average climatic values.
