This is the woman who was arrested for the kidnapping of George Kyparissis. The 39-year-old woman, as seen in the protothema.gr photos, a clothing store owner in the western suburbs, was arrested along with her 41-year-old husband and the couple's 34-year-old friend and gang leader and faces serious charges.
Her role, according to Homicide, was to be involved in providing phones and other things to the gang while the same reports say she was also involved in negotiations with the family of the kidnapped "king of parts."
She denies everything while police investigations continue to search for another 3-4 people who had a peripheral role, the two hideouts of the group and the other 500.000 euros of the 800,000 paid by the family as ransom for the release of the businessman.
They "hacked" him from instagram
The group of thieves known for blowing up ATMs, who were released from prison in 2020 for attempted murder, chose to grab the "King of Spare Parts" George Kyparissis to solve their financial problems.
The kidnappers of the 40-year-old chose their target because he was a well-known person in the western suburbs while they had "x-rayed" his movements and life from the posts made by the victim on social media and especially instargam.
Within 65 days, they changed 2 hideouts, sent 3 videos to the family of the kidnapped while contacts were made via viber. The woman was allegedly the one who found the phones and participated in the negotiations.
