Two men and a woman have been brought to the GADA as suspects in the kidnapping of businessman George Kyparisis.

According to what is known, they are two men aged 41 and 34 and a woman aged 39, who were brought in the early hours of Saturday morning to the Crimes Against Life department and are being questioned by the authorities.

They are being seriously investigated for their involvement in the kidnapping of the businessman who was released on Friday morning after 70 days of hostage taking and what role they played in it.

Throughout the 70 days that the kidnapping of the businessman lasted, the police had managed to gather evidence that would lead them to the trail of the perpetrators.

The pieces of the puzzle began to fit together and 24 hours after the release of Kyparissis, the three men were brought in, which indicates that we may be close to solving the case.

"Shock the whole thing"

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," said businessman George Kyparissis, in his first statements after the end of his two-month-long kidnapping adventure.

"It's a shock the whole thing. I was in a room for so long," the 40-year-old said.

"They said 'get down,' they handcuffed me and put a hood on me before they put me in the car," he described the moment of his abduction late last December.

"The kidnappers were speaking clear Greek."
