"Justice advisor" at the Turkish "embassy" in the occupied territories, reactions to the appointment What the T/C media report

"Justice advisor" appointed at the Turkish "embassy" in the occupied territories, which is happening for the first time, and this person will deal with issues such as assisting in the administration of justice and extraditing suspects.

The news was confirmed on their websites by the newspaper Ozgur and Yeni Dusen, with the latter noting that there are already "advisers" in the "embassy" on education, interior and economic issues.

The online Ozgur writes that this comes as talks continue about creating a "justice ministry", an idea floated as part of Turkey's efforts to take over the judiciary in the occupied territories.

According to GMP, the publication states that the independent judiciary in the occupied territories "bothers the AKP", clearly seen in some of the statements made about our judiciary especially by Turkish President Erdogan at various times. Amidst these rumors, a development that occurred the other day raised questions in the mind."

Kipris Post writes that PKK "MP" candidate and member of the human rights committee of the Bar Association's human rights committee, Ashli Murat said in a social media post that the "independence of the judiciary" is absolutely necessary to safeguard not only the "courts" but also politics and "democracy".

Pointing to "Article 136" of the "constitution", Murat recalled that it states that when judges take their decisions "independently and in harmony with the law", no one can give them instructions, no circular can be sent to them, and no one can make any suggestion or encouragement to them.
