Jenna Jameson is in hospital and cannot walk after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Over the weekend, the 47-year-old famous American woman's partner, Israeli businessman Lior Beaton, with whom she has a four-year-old daughter, Batel Lou, revealed on Instagram that she was in the hospital undergoing tests after "not feeling well." The former porn star suffered from vomiting for two weeks before being hospitalized.

"When she came home from the hospital, she was in agony. Her leg muscles were very weak, so she couldn't go to the bathroom. To go to the bathroom, I had to help her, lift her from the bed and hold her. Then, within two days, the situation got worse, her legs started not to hold her, she was unable to walk," Lior Beaton said in a video, which he posted on social media on Saturday 8/1.

The Israeli businessman took Jenna Jameson to the hospital again, where she underwent more tests and was found to be suffering from Guillain-Barré syndrome.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Guillain-Barré syndrome is a "rare, autoimmune disorder in which the immune system destroys nerves, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis." Symptoms can last from a few weeks to several years. Most patients make a full recovery. However, some experience permanent nerve damage.

In an Instagram Story, Lior Beaton disclosed that Jameson has begun treatment to combat the symptoms of Guillain-Barré syndrome by taking a high dose of immunoglobulin. "She is doing physical therapy to help her get back on her feet. At the moment, however, she cannot stand on her feet. The doctors are starting treatment to see how she goes. So keep praying," the businessman noted."

On Monday 10/1, the former porn star posted a video on her personal Instagram account confirming that she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. At the same time, she thanked her fans for the warm wishes they sent her. Finally, she clarified that the syndrome she is experiencing is not a side effect of the coronavirus vaccine, as she has not even been vaccinated.

In the past, the popular American had expressed her anti-vaccine views on social media. "I was NOT pierced. This is NOT a reaction to being poked. Thank you for your concern," she stressed.
