The first intra-party online opinion survey of DIKO members is a fact and was conducted in the context of the congress proceedings.

The results were presented during the Political Conference on 6 February by the party's vice-president, Antonis Antoniou.

In a statement, DIKO said that the intra-party referendum concerned important issues of concern to the country.

Based on the findings, 97.6% of the Democratic Party members[/B] consider the government's policy for dealing with the migration/refugee issue to be inadequate.

A percentage of 93.7% calls for setting a national minimum wage and 86.2% considers that spending on defence should be increased to 2% of GDP as proposed by DIKO.

More specifically, the overwhelming majority of DIKO members (97.6%) do not consider the government's policy to be sufficient[/B] to deal with the migration issue and prefer additional measures as proposed by the party.

Regarding the content of the reform of local government as formulated in the House of Representatives (20 municipalities), 61.5% of respondents are not satisfied while 38.5% express satisfaction.
